Default 02 protege headlight on warning disabled

Help I have to leave house when it is dark and get to school when its light. My headlight-on warning had been disabled by previous owner and since I have needed 3 jumps this year so far, I would like to turn it back on. Any one know how to do this?

are you talking about the headlight symbol inside the gauge cluster is not glowing? honestly most likely the light bulb just burned out take out your gauge cluster and check it out, if the light but is all black thats the problem. cause i really don't even know if there is a way you can disable that feature without cutting the wire or something.

Default Not the issue

No I mean the ding that comes on when you open the door, that reminds you the lights are on. The ding works when you open the passenger door, but not the drivers side
