Hey guys,

Have a 2000 manual 1.6 Mazda protege. Just has to replace cam sensor due to stalling/not starting issues that are common with this model. I assumed this power issue was associated but has persisted after replacing cam sensor. When accelerating from standing through til about 40k/he and upto 3rd/4th gear will sometime have stuttering intermittent power loss. It isn't consistent with every take off etc, but when it does it seems to have 3-5 little dips in power and continues on as normal. Occurs enough that you notice at least half a dozen times in 10 min drive. Any ideas?

sounds like my old subaru when i had a plug wire go bad?
