at best buy and walmart, there are two wiring harnesses for this pickup truck. one says for premium sound, and the other doesn't. both of them are made for "various vehicles" and have a list of about 30 different vehicles it will work with.

does anyone know which one i'm gonna need? the one for premium sound has a flat wide connector with the ground, power, and yellow wire and then 3 other small connectors for speakers. the one for regular has two flat wide connectors, one with all the speakers and one with everything else.

 

The harness you need is dependant upon which system the truck is equipped with from factory. The base system was only an AM/FM radio. Best solution is to pull the audio unit out and see which set of connectors you have currently.
