the front end in my 1994 MX-6 LS 5 spd. seems to hop or roughly vibrate when under heavy acceleration, it does this until about 4500rpm in 4th gear then levels out, i can get rubber in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear so i figured the tires were spinning which they were but it continued to hop with no spin in 4th, i put front and rear strut bars in recently do you think this may be causing my problem? any advice is a great help thank you very much

 

I would check and most likely have to replace the engine mounts. I can tell you drive it hard by your info and would start there. They are most likely original and either broken or hardened. Another possible cause is a CV joint or a slightly twisted axle if you drive it this hard all the time.

 

thanks for the advice man, but i dont drive it that hard all the time, i was just talking about a time when i did beat on it, and the motor mount do look pretty new but ill take your advice and check them out, thanks alot, cheers.
