Has anyone heard of this? I was told that a Turbo from a chrysler lebaron will bolt right on to the 1.6L 4cyl...... is this true?

 

Highly-highly unlikely. The old Mopar 2.2 and 2.5 liter engines used a Garrett T03 turbocharger where as the MX-6 uses an IHI RHB5 VJ11. It's been years since I looked at the two units (and I've never seen them side-by-side) but if memory serves, the water, oil, inlet and outlet connections are rather different. In fact, I don't even remember if the IHI turbo even has the coolant feature of the Garrett turbocharger.
