Default Speedometer/Cruise control don't work

So i have a 1993 MX-3 V6 and the neither the Speedometer or the cruise control work. I took out the dash and all the wiring is hooked up.

Where else should i check? I know you guys have experience with these cars as i do not. thanks!

You might have removed the dash for nothing. I would start by locating the vehicle speed sensor. If it's not working, or has bad connection, this will cause both speedo and cruise control to malfunction. Sorry my wheels are '99 Protege so I can't tell you where to look for the VSS other than around the drive wheels area.

May be easier to view after taking out the battery, since the V6 is rather tight fitting. Raise the hood, lean over driver side fender, look over and below the master cylinder, beneath the intake throttle body, you'll see part of the transmission where the axles enter. Speed Sensor is right on top of that part of the tranny.
I'd use my car for better reference, but since i relocated the fuel filter, it won't look exactly like yours.
If memory serves, there is one, maybe two 10mm bolts mounting it to the tranny.
