okay so last night i sold my 94 accord, so my mx3 became my main transportation
so it was running super funny and it had a half a tank of bad gas so i dumped the gas put a few gallons of 91 octane and a bottle of Lucas brand system cleaner, it ran better but still not good so i looked up the firing order, wrote down what it was at just in case and then checked and number 2 and 6 were switched on the alternator so i switched them to spec and now it runs AMAZING!!! gonna take her out on the road right now and see if that helps the whole shifting thing also before i got i'm gonna check out the AC might need a charge but i'm considering turbo-ing this lil 1.8 V6

Yeah thats the first thing that popped into my head turned out to be the problem

 

But it wasnt the check engine light problem unfortunately

 

okay so it WAS running fine till i went through 2ft of water on an underpass, really had no choice i couldn't turn around now it seems to be acting like it was before i'm gonna check everywhere for any water maybe in the distributor?
