Default mx-6 info plz

Hello I am trying to buy a newer mx-6 the ones that are like 92-97 or so but like even though my friends all know about cars they don't know much about mazdas.... they all into like hondas and nissans
But I was just wondering what were some problems that mx-6's have, including the body of the car and the engine, and also how long does the engine hold to(as in mileage) and are they reliable without a need to repair if well maintained?

mx6 is a very nice car good power comfortable yet still sporty ride if u are lookin to get one get a standard as it is much faster and more reliable than the automatic. for a sportier car same power but geared more for acceleration is the 93+ probe gt a little stiffer if a suspension and better tires. the k series motor has a very smooth and nice feel it also has vris which engages at 4200-4400ish and will pull u hard till 7 grand+. my old probe gt(94) had a mx6 motor 2.5l v6 klze intake manifold intake gutted muffler and high flow cat i felt like it pulled reallr hard easily take siR swapped civic. dont let the lower redline compared to honda b16, b18c ,ls vtech, or b20 block b16 head fool u because the tranny is wider gearing so when their hittin 8500 ur still only at 7200(105-110km/h). the motor does not loose pull as it revs up and breathing mods open the top end a lot too i shifted usually with this pattern while racin
1st-7500(60), 2nd-7200-7500(105-120), 3rd-6800-7000(150), fourth catces really nice (really shortly geared 3rd to forth) after 2nd gear equally horsepowered hondas wont be able to keep up due to the increased torque of the v6 vs. a 4cyl. all those shift points are the probes i no the mx6 has longer gears so the speeds wouldt be the same between the mx6 and probe gt. the probe topped out just over 240km/h in 5th gear at over 7000. these cars are cheap to modify too-klze motor 200 hp 7500 redline higher compression bottom end more agressive cams and better flowing intake maniflod(1000 canadian) u can put klze cams and intake manifold on the klo3(stock probe mx6 motor) shave a mx3 gs flywheel from a wreckers to 13 lbs. over the stock 23lber i think (that bolts right up) a lot of cheap upgrades available for them and a mid-low 15sec quater mile stock u cant beat tha for the price consideeerin a good probe no more than 3 grand a 94+integra gsr low 15 sec quater mile ur looking at 7ish around here-probe won car of the year in 93. integra gsr won car of the year 94. make sure if u buy one to go pre96 for this allows for easier tuning and klze install due to it being i think obd1 where as 96 97 was obd 11 and u cant us the klze ecu i believe hope this is enough info for u
p.s there are lost of 14 sec mx6s and probes and its not to hard to attain,
