Hello everyone i just bought a 95 2.0 4 cyl. MX6 and love it so far except one thing i cant stop at a stop light without it dying... its a manual and when i push the clutch in the idle just drops down and the car dies... i have changed the idle control valve which the guy i bought it from told me was bad... also i just changed the spark plugs. i'm very frustrated with this... can someone help me please!!!! i believe i just need to change the idle and turn it up a little bit let me kno if you have any idea

 

My wifes mx6 has had similiar problems a couple or three times..

Get some carb cleaner and spray the throttle butterfly valve real good... then drive the hell out of it. It should clean up very quickly. dirt seems to build up and not let the butterfly seat properly.

Also check the air intake hose for a leak. My MX3 had a crack in the intake boot and it did the same thing. Cost $230 to find that out.
