Default How do I get oil into my new Lifters?

I recently purchased a new set of lifters for my 1989 Probe GT(Mazda 2.2 liter). I'm unable to get them to pump up!
Any suggestions would be most helpful, thank you.

Default RE: How do I get oil into my new Lifters?

Put new oil in the car + oil filter

Pull the fuse of the fuelpump out.
Pull the cables out of the distribute (the small low voltage connectors)

Try to start for about a 10 to 20 seconds (pump oil around) the car will NOT start.

Put the cables + fuse back and start. Normaly it will start.
