the civic si has 120hp sir has 160-170 year depending a si u should take as i can pull slightly on one in my dohc b6 mx3, as long as u r sifting at the least a 7 grand, hold every gear slightly longer than he holds his ur rev limiter shouldnt hit till 7500 unless ur talkin about an auto which ull loose if u r. but in first and second the car shouldnt run out on power below 7500 its a mazda rev it up till u here the ting ting in first keep the gas on while hittin the clutch and catching second pop the clutch out and after the chirp into second u should be walking a away let off the gas between every other shift though as the extra momentum wont help u ne, dont attempt that if ur clutch is slippin adn if u have 800 bucks or so by a pgt mx6 motor vaf and ecu and have it installed and ull walk all over even siRs(i live in canda)

i have a 1.8l dohc and im running a zex dry kit with a 75 shot on a 5 speed tranny plus my mx3 is gutted and i dont have too many problems with a civic si its a 50/50 split it just depends on whether or not the other guy messes up.(get into his head with trash talk)
