Hi folks,

I am a new member I am rebuilding a Eunos 30X- Mazda Mx3 with my son for his first car and we have run into a problem with the abs

We have the abs warning light on and can't get the computer into diagnostic mode. We have tried connecting the TBS to GND in the diagnostic connector and get nothing.
I have also gone through the service manual and done the wiring checks and can't find a problem. Wheel speed sensors are behaving as expected, same for pump and solenoids and abs fail safe relay

I want to get it computer into diagnostic mode so i have a hint of where to look for the problem and then reset the computer.


Does anyone have any suggestions?

 

I have a 2003 Chevy Astro Van which had the ABS Module and pump replaced less than three years ago. I haven’t been driving it much the last week but lots of rain here visiting my parents.

I also have problem with abs. After mechanic changed sensor for other one (computer showed that he was faulty) but not original mx3. For one that comes from 323. Since then abs light is constantly. Today i did jumper from TBS to GND and i had just normal view of dashboard. Abs light lightin constantly. I did same procedure but with diode on diagn port but there is also same effect. Constans light.

 

Ive found the solution to your and mine problem. If u want to check your faulty codes you have to jumper TBS-GND and use diode witch resitor (i used red witch 470Ohm) and jumper B+ with FBS.
