Default 1995 mx-6 radio

I just bought a white 95 mx-6 last week. when i went to see the car, it ran fine and everything was working properly. But, when i went to pick it up I didnt notice that the radio wasn't working til i got home. what i do know is that they had to install a new battery. Does anyone have any suggestions?

the 1994 mazda mx-6 manual says that you have to have a [4 digit?] code to make the original radio work... and when you unhook it from the battery... you have to put in the code... but if you don't have the code... i guess you have to get a new radio... honestly, i'm glad my car didn't have the original radio... it would have drove me crazy... :-D but i hope that helps ya some
