So I have a bit of a problem. Doing a Protege/KLZE build (2001 Protege, engine from a 1993 MX6 (KLZE)). The engine I have came missing one of the coolant sensors. The red arrow in the pics show which sensor I am missing.

The guy I bought the car and engine from said it's the ECT F sensor and controls fan operation. I did some searching and from what I've found the ECT F sensor is located where the blue arrow is pointing, however I don't even have a hole there for a sensor to screw in to.

There is a lot of conflicting info out there and I'm really hoping someone can help me out. If there is anything else you need to know please ask.
