I noticed a coolant leak. Upon checking it out I found coolant leaking from the gasket between a pan on the front of my transmission, I never paid any attention to that pan before. It's pressed steel like the old oil pans only vertical but bolted to the transmission just like an oil pan. I checked the transmission fluid and there is no evidence of it mixing with water at all.

 

That's the valve body pan i assume ( you don't say what year though) No coolant in there. The leak has to be coming from elsewhere ( think gravity and air turbulence)
