rpm flash and no vehicle speed
my 2003 mpv has been having rpm flash (surge to 4000) and loses speed, need to pull over and put into park before it will function properly. Does anybody have an idea what causes this? V-6 with auto trans. tcs is stuck on

I would check or simply replace the MAF possible check or replace the idle control valve. When these go bad they can reak havoc elsewhere, more of a downstream affect of the engine trying to compensate for bad signals.
