Default Replacing the ECU in a 2000 Mazda MPV

Anyone have any advice on programming an ECU when replacing it in the MPV?

If we just replace the old one with the new one, the anti-theft light won't go out, so the van won't start.

It is the right ECU.

Help??? Advice??? Thanks!

I believe the ecu, immobilizer unit and ignition switch are coded together so you have to replace them all as a unit or they might be programable but i doubt it.
