MPV stalls without warning.
Mazda MPV, 1997, 3.0 liter, 4X4
I have owned my MPV for five or six years. This is a first!
She stalled at highway speed a few weeks ago. She would not start thereafter. I had a tow to mechanic / garage.
She started strong for the mechanic; he can find nothing wrong.
She stalled again a few days ago at idle. Same mechanic can find nothing wrong; she starts after cool down during another tow.
Recently the distributor cap has been replaced.
Any guidance will be appreciated.
