MPG on '98 All-sport

MPG on '98 All-sport
I have found a ES 4WD all-sport with high miles for sale. Edmunds says only 15 mpg for this truck. Is that correct, even on the highway?? I have heard about distributor and Cat issues on theses trucks is that still a issue?
