Default jerking on MPV van

I have a 2003 MPV van that jerks sometimes when accelerating. Usually happens around 40 to 50 mph. It seems to happen after I fill up and around 3/4 to 1/2 tank of gas. Could it be a fuel problem?

I have taken it to the dealership and a non-dealer mechanic and they cannot find anything wrong. The dealership did change some sensors but it still does it.

I am not very knowledgeable about cars so any help, suggestions are appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forums!! If you could please put your car's info into your signature (year, model, engine, trans etc) it would help us all out

Is your check engine light on? If so did the mechanic tell you what the codes were?

When you say jerk do you mean like a hesitation/lack of power briefly? On a vehicle that old one thing that will almost always help is changing the fuel filter, this is never done often enough, a plugged filter will make the pump work harder and eventually kill the fuel pump.

Do you always fill up at the same place? I filled up once after a tanker filled the stations tanks.......never going to do that again, had a tank filled with crap and a plugged filter. Maybe try a different gas station if you can.
