Hello,
I have a 2000 Mazda Mpv. My transmission is not doing well. However, I just noticed this particular hose junction that seems to have no hose. Can anyone identify this for me, and where the hose goes that attaches to this? I have included a couple of pictures. This is on the drivers side. Thanks.

Yeah... actually there's should be a hose which to connects it to a kind of filter under the air filter compartment.
