Default Camshaft PULLEYS

Here's a "doozie"! I currently own a '94 MPV that needs another engine. I just purchased a '97 with a severely shredded belt. The right camshaft "pulley"(by mazda's definition) was damaged on the 97. Are the pulleys interchangeable between the '94 and '97 engines?

I'd check the part numbers on partsamerica.com or autozone.com. Check the 1994 model, write down the part number, then check it again for the 1997 model and check that number against that which you wrote down.

if they match, you're good to go. I've also called the dealership to verify both P/Ns if it is a part that I do not want to goof on.....

good luck.
