Default 92 mpv fuel problem

The timing belt broke on the mpv 3.0. We replaced the belt and the heads because the cams locked up. After we put it back together it started for about 5 minutes. We turned it off to check everything and it started but shut back off. Sometimes it starts and then dies with the throttle part way open. We replaced the fuel filter and the regluator but that did not work. The plugs have a blue spark and the distributor is in the right place. When we spray carb cleaner in the intake it runs for a few seconds then cuts off again. It ran fine before the belt broke. All the hoses and connectors were checked and they are connected. We unhooked a fuel lineon the filter outletand jumped the test connector and fuel pumps out of the hose. If there is any suggestions thatwe did not cover please letus know.

Thanks

Sounds like a leak between the airflow meter and throttlebody. That van used a flap type airflow meter which has a fuel shutoff switch in it. If your hose from the airflow meter to throttlebody has a crack in it or other leak it will do what you described. Try holding the flap open on the airflow meter by hand and see if it starts.
