2006 MPV Timing Belt or Chain?

In the 2006 MPV maintenance schedule I do not see anything about when to have the timing belt changed.

Does the 2006 MPV have a timing chain that typically should not have to be changed within a specific maintenance schedule?

All 2000 and later MPV's use a timing chain kh_design. At least in North American market.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Typically should timing chains on the 2006 MPV not have to be changed within a specific maintenance schedule?

Do timing chains on the 2006 MPV have a long life expectancy, how many miles should be expected with the typical timing chain on the 2006 MPV?

I am hearing 250,000 miles is the typical life expectancy for the timing chain on the 2006 MPV.

That would be a fairly good guesstimation on longevity as I have not yet seen any failures but have also not seen any MPV's with chain engines having that many miles yet.:D

Just noticed this weekend that the timing chain can be seen when the engine oil fill cap is removed.
