Greetings fellow MPV owners. I have a 1996 Mazda MPV Sport and the transfer case lock and AWD will not turn OFF. Before I go to a mechanic and have them tell me I need a new transfer case or something. Last week was up in the Sierra mountains and I had the 4wd on and transfer case locked and then got to the bottom of the rough patch and went to turn them off and realized I hit the switches while the car was in reverse gear. Now the lights won't turn off and I get a beeping sound when I try. I've tried turning them on and off in reverse and drive and it just won't turn off.

Any advice much appreciated- we love this car- have a bed that fits my 6'4" self, wife and two dogs built into the back and have hung onto and babied this car as it is our little 4WD camping recreation vehicle.
