1992 Mazda MPV EFI System
Hey,
I'm kind of fustrated with the EFI system, I have been following the self diagnostics simple instructions to troubleshoot my check engine light and I've had no luck with retrieving the code nor can I reset the check engine light by removing the negative connector from the battery and pressing the pedal down for 5 seconds or more. Have you heard of anyone unable to retreive codes or having these issues ? Can you verify if I'm doing everything right ? (steps below)
I warmed up the van prior to doing this.
1. Put a jumper wire from single green pin connector to a suitable ground (I used the frame).
2. Put the car in Neutral.
3. Turned off all accessories.
4. Then turned the car into the ON position.
My Current Results
The check engine light stays solid.
