My S model had a vacume hose diagram on the top right underside of the Hood. I don't know if it shows all of them but it was enough for me to fix my vacume leak. Mine was losing power as well.

if your car has vacuum leaks, it will throw codes. most common is p0170/0173. VERY common problem, plastic "tees" are hosed. lots of labor. you gotta remove the intake, all of it, to get at the little ******. i replaced all of ours(we have 2 99 's') with brass, and new silicon hose. pain in the butt BIG time. every 2.3 will go thru this

So what you are saying is that it is a good investment in time to replace all the hoses and replace plastic t's with brass ones? All 2.3L S will go through this?. Well it makes good sense to me. Is this car worth all the headache it has? HZ

each person has his own priorities. we have 2 99s'. i expect to get several more years out of them. i think they are well very made. the problems i see is most owners of the 2.3mc have no idea what a car does, so they end up taking the car to some cheap *** psuedo "mechanic" who also has never even SEEN a millenia before, and has never heard of a miller cycle motor. so the owner ends up paying some dingbat to learn on his car. most of these dingbats have no diagnostic skills. so they end up throwing parts at it, then they give up. by that time, a few thousand bucks has changed hands, the car still dont run right, and the owner ends up hating the car. my advice to all 2.3 owners is, if you cannot do most of the maintenance on the car, get rid of it. i happen to like the car.
