Well I just pulled into my house and i put my car in park, well now i cant put my car in drive nor nut. or anything its just stuck in park. Now i have to stick a little pencil in the hole next to the shifter that releases the cylinode to unlock the button on the shifter. What can i do to fix this problem. never had this problem before nor on any car that i have worked on.

 

millenias are nice rides > ugly side is their trainys this is second transmition problem i been having within past 8 months first one broke down. Bought used trainy of the mazda junk yard. Ended up with same problem i am having right now no shifting rear gear, still goes forward. BOth trainys acted like yours does.... SELL IT WHILE YOU CAN

 

its not the tranny, it was actually the lock on the ****fter itself, the button that unlocks the ****fter to go into r n d s L, i got the problem fixed and you wont believe what it was, it was actually the Rear defrost fuse that was out which cause it not to unlock. thanks for your help bro!
