Replacing Stock Bose Radio with Pioneer - No Sound
First off, if you are reading this, thank you.
Here is my problem. I have a 2001 Millenia S with the Bose sound system. I have the adaptors for two of the pigtails that plug into the back of the old unit, and I have wired those to my new Pioneer DMH-100BT head unit. Everything powers up, but there is no sound. I am assuming that is because the last pigtail that has 16 connectors is not hooked to anything. I am assuming that goes to the Bose amp somewhere in my car. I am not very good at doing this, so I am guessing here. Is there a way to use that amp on my new stereo? Can I bypass it somehow? Better yet, is there some sort of adaptor so I can hook that amp directly up to my new stereo? The only connectors I have left on the new system are 4 RCA jacks that I believe can go to an amp.
Thank You!
