I'm getting the following codes on my 95 Millenia 2.5. The car will not stay running, it dies every couple hundred feet.

From researching the problem I've traced it down to zero vacuum from the intake manifold to the egr boost solenoid.

I really don't want to remove the intake if I can help it. I tried running weed eater line and a small Allen wrench down the nipple and it stops dead at 1/2 inch. My question is, how deep should it go? Is it just a straight shot into the intake? Is it even possible to unplug it through the nipple? If so, how?
