Default Oil Pressure Sending Unit

Where can I buy a new one? My filter is covered with oil and I have heard this is a common cause.

Just to be certain - this is different than the oil pressure switch, correct?

B367-18-501. oil pressure switch/sending unit. one and the same. albany mazda discount price 12 bucks and change. same switch on just about every mazda made since 1995, at least. watch out, usually on stuff like this, every one and his brother makes it, but only a few actually hold up. not too difficult to change, tho, so if you get a bad one, it dont hurt too much.

Is this a common remedy to an oil leak that appears to be coming from above the oil filter?

What's a good brand from a local auto part store for a replacement? Bog-Warner okay?
