Default How to dismantle alarm?

Hi,

The battery on my '96 Millenia died and for some reason my alarm engaged and started to go off when I lifted the hood. Well, I changed the battery which was found to be bad and replaced it with a new one and now I cannot get any power to the car. It's as if the alarm has somehow dismantled my car. Also, the front headlights turned on when the new battery was installed, but still no power comes on when I turn the key. I don't know if the alarm was factory installed, nor do I have a keyless remote, since the car was bought used a year ago.

Does anyone know how I can dismantle the alarm? Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Barb
