Default Fuel pressure after shutoff

I haven't had my Millenia long enough to know...

Does your 2.3 Millenia start immediately when you turn the key? Mine turns over rapidly for about 5-7 seconds before starting, even when it's only been sitting a few minutes, which suggests to me that the fuel pressure is bleeding off somewhere.

It IS supposed to hold pressure for a while, right?

I'm trying to track down my random cylinder miss at idle.

Thanks.

How old is the fuel filter?

Did you try testing the fuel pressure at the rail?

It wasn't fuel related after all. I did check the fuel pressure at the tank as suggested by the service manual and it was fine. There really isn't anywhere to check the pressure at the rail. The problem turned out to be a dirty crank sensor.

Thanks for the suggestion.
