fuel fitler????
#2
i know you mean FILter. open the trunk, pull back the carpet. up near the ski hole, you will see a round plate. the filter is under there. mazda fsm says change 60k. depending on if yours is rusty or not, it is not too bad. i always pull the back seat out, then you have a much better space to get at it. otherwise, you can try lying in the trunk with your feet hanging out, or going thru the ski hole. the fsm says start the car, then pull the fuel pump relay, and let the motor die. this is to relieve the pressure in the system. the relay is under the cruise control actuator. it is a pain in the butt. i just wait overnite, get a bunch of paper towels, and yank that sucker out, and wipe up all the fuel. even if you pull the relay, it is still gonna spill fuel. make sure you pay attention to inlet and outlet
