Buying a non-running Millenia-advice?

Buying a non-running Millenia-advice?
There is a 2002 Millenia 2.5L at Pontiac Auto Auction. It is listed as non-running, possible timing belt issue. Car looks really clean, 144K miles.
Car did not bring a single bid, starting at $100. I think because of age and people not knowing that Millenia were the flagship Mazda at that time. I've always thought they were kinda cool.
I can make the repairs myself, realizing that the car is not worth a lot, even running and driving.
Asking for advice, good and bad. Is a can or worms, or worth saving?
