Hi I have just bought a 2003 MX5 Trilogy 1.8

The car has been running fine the last week or so - however there is a loud squeaking noise (quite high pitched) that has started to come from either behind the dashboard or underneath the driver's seat.

Normally minor noises wouldn't be an issue but it is becoming incredibly annoying. Noise is triggered over bumps (even minor ones) in the road - so the car is making this noise every few seconds. It could be suspension related?

I have Googled this problem and it 'could' be the sway brushes? Anyone know if this is a common problem or is anyone else experiencing this? I would be very grateful if anyone could provide some advice. I have really enjoyed driving the car this week but this has really been an issue.
