I am trying to determine what Miata we have. It is a 1995 MX-5 MIA according to the registration.
From researching the WEB, I have determined that it has the "Equipment Package, Leather Package and a few things that are listed in different packages. Rear spoiler for one.
I vaguely recall Special addition models and when I look at pictures on line I see some differences. One in particular is the dash treatment. Ours has a plastic wood grain surround. There is also reference to a "Black and Tan" model, but appears to refer to earlier years The car is black and tan
My daughter bought the car in 1996, I bought it from her in 2002. It now has 65k miles on it. Neither of us drove it in the snow and if the sun wasn't shinning it stayed in the garage.
As age, mine not the Miata's, is getting to be an issue, it is time to sell it. Trying to put affair market price on it has become an interesting endeavor.
My research so far has made me aware that there is something different about this Miata. I would like to know what it is just as a matter of curiosity. If it makes it more valuable, that would not be a bad thing.
