Default Long trips

I've been reading that wind noise can be an issue especially if the hardtop, but I was wondering for anyone here if the 3rd generation is good for long trips if it's comfortable enough if you have to get gas a lot or if the wind noise is just too loud where you can't even hear yourself think. I plan on getting one and I might have to end up driving at least 600 miles in a trip and if the car is good for that or not.

While I've never driven a NC Miata, I have done three 1,000+ mile road trips in two different NA Miatas, both rag tops, and they both proved quite comfortable for long trips. By all accounts the NC Miata is far more comfortable than the NA, so driving a Miata for a long road trip is quite enoyable.
