Default Location of Mazda Miata MX-5 Body Center Impact Sensor

Where do I find the Body Center Impact Sensor in my 1991 Mazda Miata MX-5 and how do I replace it?

With some rough google-ing, with minimal vehicle details, it appears to be #2 in the picture. Should be unplug, unbolt, bolt on new sensor, plug it in, clear the code and away you go.

Thanks! I guess it´s No. 3 and mounted somewhere under the dashboard. What do I need to remove to reach the sensor?
