Default BRAKE PROBLEM!

I recently took apartallfour of the disc brakes on my 91 miata to paint the calipers. (which came out lookin really good). after i put the brakes back together, i noticed that the brakes were feeling really soft and needed alot of push from the pedal to stop the car. I checked all the nuts and bolts and everything is in its proper place, and i also checked for any air inside the brake lines whichwhere good, and the car still feels like it has really soft and weak breaks. Any ideas about what might be causing this? a friend suggested that a little driving would help the brakes tighten up but i havn't had the time to do so. If you guys have any ideas, that would help alot. Thanks.

There is a bolt on the back side of the rear calipers that when removed has an allen bolt to adjust the piston tighter or looser. Also make sure you lubed the slide pins well. They rust and cause the caliper to stick.

Thanks, is there a place to tighten and loosen the front brake pistons as well?
