Hi everyone...I just got a 07 Miata a couple of months ago and now have a problem! My seat belt seems to be causing me some pain...almost like it is getting tighter as I drive!!!

I drive three of four (+) hours a day, five days a week. I am no Mechanic, but rather a poor (and I mean poor!) Social Worker. I read around the Net and think I may have a bad tensioner, but like I said, I am no Mechanic and I am poor!

Any Ideas?

Put a small cushion in between you and the strap. That's the poor man's solution!

 

tried that with a shoulder/belt cushion, towel, and hard knee pad...all of these ride up onto my neck and make it very uncomfortable!
