OK. I figured out the cause of the problem. Not sure why it's happening though.

The thread I was replying to have the word won't in the subject line. I notice that each response doubles the number of ' unitl after a few replies won't looks like won't and that errors the replies after a certain number of ' in the subject line. I cleaned up the ' for my response and it still doubled it to '

 

yeah, we are trying to find out where all of those apostrophes are coming from. seems like the rest of the web is dumping their extras on us.
