Hello mazda fans!New to site.I just picked up a 08 cx9 grand touring.So far its everything I was looking for!My question is does the car use reg. or premium gas?One dealer said the 07 used premium and the 08 could use reg.The first page of owners manual says the car runs on 97,under that it said the car runs on 87.So what to do? Anything else I should know about this vehicle?Thanks

 

I suggest you go to the Mazda web site and download a manual. Also, make sure you aren't mixing numbers. Why do I say that? Because here in the States we use a rating called "AKI" (which is an average of the RON and MON rating of the fuel), whereas most of the rest of the world used simply the RON rating (which is always a higher number than the AKI).

Edit: I just looked it up and Mazda officially calls for Regular fuel for the CX-9.
