Hi family. I’m looking to potentially replace the grill on my 2018 GT CX-9 with something else more personal and blacked out. Looking to see if it is more cost effective than wrapping it.

Hoping for suggestions as to where I can find alternate grills. Thanks so much!

 

I've had very good results with Plasti-Dip on separate occasions (another vehicle). You have a wide range of colors and finishes to choose from, its relatively cheap and if you get tired of it or make a mistake, you just peel it off! The one caveat I can think of however is prep. Unless you can easily remove the grille - and I'm not sure how to do this on the CX-9 without removing the entire bumper cover - masking off and covering parts you don't want the spray to get on can be quite a pain.
