Default Overheating CX9

Help been working on this car for weeks. Its overheating and the fans aren't coming on. Coolant flowing back into bottle. Fine when moving. But still.need to fined thus problem Replaced thermostat cylinde head temp sensor and fan control modules. Checked relays and all were good. Its.crazy.....when I tap the fan control modules the fans jump and start spinning but do not stay on even with AC running full. Tried to apply power straight to the fans from battery and that didn't work either. Blockage? Water pump? Head gasket? I don't get it.

Did the engine overheat? I’m having a hard time believing that coolant mixed with the oil from the water pump failing. Something else must have given way for that to occur. Granted, on these engines the water pump is an internal component of the engine driven by the timing chain, which Nox Vidmate VLC makes it’s replacement much more difficult (and $$$ compared to a “traditional” water pump).
