One more window problem to report!
I’ve owned my 2013 CX-9 Grand Touring since new and in 75M miles it has given me very little trouble until recently. Now, when the driver’s door window reaches the top of its travel, it seems to want to continue closing beyond its limit and makes a loud ratcheting sound as though a gear or cable has stripped. The window does fully open and close, so the motor doesn’t seem to be the problem.
I have found similar posts on this Forum, but none that seem to report the same issue. If the motor is still good, can I simply replace other components, or is the regulator assembly all one self-contained unit? Any thoughts as to where I can acquire replacement parts? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yep. That sounds very likely. Thanks for
confirming it. I‘ve ordered both a replacement motor and mechanism and I’ll have at it once they arrive. $60 and a couple of hours effort sure beats $600 in dealer service cost!
