Default Drivers side door wont open properly from inside.

Any ideas please, yesterday my drivers door slammed from heavy wind. Went to open it, door trim came adrift fromm door, so i had to pull it off while opening the door, the inner door handle came off also. I checked for any damage cable and connectors everything looked ok. Put everything back on. Only problem now when opening door from inside, the door feels like its slightly grabbing on latch. But when you open from outside its perfect.
tried adjusting striker plate still has slight grab opening from inside. Door lock mechanism couldnt be that fragile after a slam?
Any suggestions befor i take in to near dealership.

Try a body shop instead of the dealer. They probably have a lower hourly billing rate.
