Hi all CX9 owners, I am buying a used 2011 model (grand touring) with 16,000km (10,000miles almost).

Is there a way that I can make sure that the odo meter is manipulated? like seeing the edges of the dashboard around the meter or any similar check?

Any ideas? ( I went to the dealer too to check history)

They can't be manipulated. At least not without spending a lot of money to do it. Modules and the PCM keep a record of mileage.

 

Here in Sweden where I live the dealer network keep all service records on file and I was able to get a copy of that before buying our 2011 CT CX-9 and there I could see what date and at what milage it had been serviced.

Now "your" car had very little milage but it sill should have been serviced every 12 months or so...
