I'm searching for a custom cargo barrier or pet barrier for a 2016-2019 CX-9 here in Australia. The barrier is to go behind the second row seats.

So far I have found that the usually Aussie cargo barrier manufacturers don't make one for this model. I'm really surprised as most station wagons and SUV's ever sold in Australia usually have a genuine dealer fitted barrier as an option, and then decent aftermarket options as well.

Do they exist overseas?

Is there some sort of problem with the design of the car that prevents a proper Cargo barrier being fitted?

I'd even take a decent custom Dog barrier, provided it is custom made to fit this specific car.

 

Have you looked at the Weathertech pet barrier? I wouldn't call it custom and I don't know if you can get it in Australia but if it is like their other products it should be a quality product.
