Default Anyone that uses their CX-9 in cold/winter conditions?

Hello all, is there anyone here in this forum that lives and uses their CX-9 in real winter conditions with lot's of snow?

We live in the North of Sweden (further North than Anchorage Alaska) and has found a small problem when driving when it is snowing. It seems that the defrost vents are aimed a bit too high up onto the windshield and water from melting snow runs down to the wipers in their off position and they freeze/get stuck to the windshield.

So now and then when I need the wipers they are stuck and I have to pull over and pull them loose... It does not seem what "mode" I have the fan/heater in, this still happens now and then...

Anyone else that has experience the same problem?

Regards,
/Rikard

Same problem here is Saskatchewan Canada. We had a Subaru with a heating element in the windshield and never had an icing problem.

It is a 2011, should be what is called a Grand Touring - the top of the line model in North America...

My 2011 is one of the best vehicles I have ever used in snow and other bad weather!

I can't wait to see how the CX-9 handles the winter in Chicago.
